How much do you charge?

Our fees range from $300 – $1000 depending on the type of ceremony you want. Factors that determine fee include, amount of customization of the ceremony, whether a rehearsal is included, and milage and lodging if required for destination weddings outside of the Lake George/Saratoga Springs area. Once we have a chance to chat during your free consultation, I will be able to quote an exact fee.

Are your fees competitive?

A Professional Wedding Officiant has years of experience and training. A Professional Wedding Officiant also has the confidence and skills to conduct your ceremony in a way that you and your guests will find memorable and enjoyable. As a Professional Wedding Officiant, I belong to several wedding-related associations in order to continue engaging in best practices and to stay ahead of current trends in the wedding industry. I am insured with a $1,000,000 liability policy. Many venues require this. A lot of time and effort goes into each ceremony. I also provide my own amplification (if needed) for outdoor ceremonies. Depending on ceremony location, there may be added travel or lodging expenses. Chances are I’m also one of your least expensive vendors in charge of the most important aspect of your day.

Why should I hire you?

Providing meaningful and creative wedding ceremonies is my passion. I will be as excited about your wedding as you are. I’m also a lot of fun. If you’re looking for a boring ceremony you’ve seen or heard a dozen times before, I’m probably not the right officiant for you. The best way to know for sure is to meet me! We’ll know after our first meeting (and it’s free) if we are a good fit for one another.

Do you provide other services such as funerals or baptisms?

No. I only perform weddings and vow renewals.

Do you provide premarital counseling?

I do not, but can refer you to some wonderful resources if that’s something you are interested in.

Are you ordained?

Yes, I am ordained through American Marriage Ministries since 2011 and am legally qualified to perform weddings in New York State.

Do you perform same-sex weddings?

Yes! I have been a longtime supporter and ally of the LGBTQ+ Community. I’m so happy that all loving couples have the right to legally wed. When planning your ceremony, I will be inclusive and honor all couples and gender identities. Here at North Country Nuptials we refer to same-sex weddings as WEDDINGS.
